Which duplicate line is kept?
The first occurrence of each line is kept; later duplicates are removed. Order of unique lines stays the same as the original.
What does case-sensitive deduplication do?
When enabled, Apple and apple count as different lines. When disabled, lines are compared after converting to lowercase.
Do blank lines count as duplicates?
Yes. Multiple empty lines are treated like any other line — only the first blank line is kept unless you trim blanks first.
